Welcome totototototototototototototototo my music factory~!
Finished up some really dumb doodles from forever ago.
I had Ruko and Tei sketched out too, but apparently they’ve been lost to the void.
This is very important to remember. No matter how discouraged you get, just remember this: Someone out there enjoys your work. If nothing else, do it for them!
It makes me really happy to see this post pop up in my notification feed because there are always tags and comments from aspiring writers/artists/etc who feel encouraged by Mako’s words. It’s very heartening!
Never not reblog inspirational Makoto.
1: Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.
I found it in a Wal-Mart bin for five dollars expecting to be mildly entertained. I both cried like a baby and rejoiced because number five is alive.
OKAY LIKE I know it’s not gonna be how I imagine it no matter what I do but best case scenario? It’d be really romantic and sweet to me if it was in a hotel room during some trip we were taking together, just the two of us.
3: Talk about the person you’ve had the most intense romantic feelings for.
She’s happy, and I’m immensely glad to see how well she’s doing whenever we talk.
6: Talk about the worst birthday you’ve had.
I can’t really recall a birthday that was outright bad, just a lot that were pretty uneventful. I guess missing a flight twice on my 22nd sucked, but I had a friend and cupcakes to balance it out.
9: Talk about little things on your body that you like the most.
I have pretty graceful-looking hands and arms, and a really nice waist-to-hip ratio.
12: Talk about the worst dream you’ve ever had.
I was with someone I deeply cared about and there was something lurking beneath us that was going to severely harm or kill them. I kept trying to tell them it was there, getting more and more frantic until I’m screaming and crying, but they kept calmly denying anything was wrong. It proceeded to kill us both before I woke up.
15: Talk about the time you were most content in life.
I dunno if I can pin a “most”, but there are a few moments I can pick out. Recently snuggling up close to a certain someone not having to think about anything except their company.
18: Talk about something that happened in elementary school.
I had pretty violent thoughts even as a kid. I had a whole notebook full of doodles of dismemberment and gore and murder in the best ways my tiny mind could think up. Some wad in one of my classes handed it over to a teacher, and I got sent to the principal’s office. Not for any of the bloody scenes depicted, but because “hell” was in a word bubble on a single page.
21: Talk about a time you had to turn someone down.
Some guy I’d never spoken to asked me out with a note + doodle of a huge diamond ring. I told him flat out I was gay. He never talked to me again.
24: Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.
Not so much one word or phrase, but. At a con I had a horrendously bad panic attack, losing my voice for quite some time as a result. In these situations I’m just kinda used to tucking myself away in a corner until it passes, but a friend I was with took me aside to get me hydrated, and then back to our hotel room where we stayed until I was able to talk again.
It means a lot more to me than she probably thinks.
27: Talk about your favorite part of someone else’s body.
Her whole face, especially her eyes. But she has a really nice silhouette and is made up of some really nice and elegant s-curves, though she’d probably deny it and call me a nerdlord.
30: Talk about what turns you off.
Putting on airs, and needing to compare yourself to others. Also willing ignorance. Fuck off.
33: Talk about what you do when you are sad.
Either retreat from social activities and draw, or quietly nudge people I care about with compliments.
36: Talk about your guilty pleasures.
Schnuffel Bunny. Du bist mein eine schatz.
39: Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier.
That the school I’d chosen to go to was complete garbage.
Role-reversal. The blog asks the anon a question.
